In 1988 VIP Auto Detailing was born, which specialized in high-end detailing.  The New Haven, CT company strived for that extra-effort to get it's clients vehicles noticed.  VIP quickly became the premier detail outfit in Southern Connecticut and Northern New York County.  Soon after, company president and founder Marcus Carpenter became appointed Zymol waxes' first ever technical advisor helping the company set up detailing centers in East Haven CT & Los Angeles CA.  While consulting with a client, Marcus was asked if BBS wheels could be obtained for the client's 1990 Mercedes Benz SL 500.  That historic moment gave birth to Mecca Enterprises.  Marcus then left the day-to-day detailing operations to Vice President Pat Lawlor. Marcus began to focus on finding rare and exclusive wheels, tuning upgrade modifications, aerodynamics and asthetic accessories, focusing on luxury and exotic vehicles.
